Title: Adjusted with correct Gamma
I rendered out the thumbnail with the correct gamma settings. It looked good to me.

another question:
i will use the same bump map several times, should i change the name to the naming convention for every material? or have only one name, so all the materials will use the same file?

As for Gamma settings, please refer to the documentation included with the MatLabs. If you are using Max 2008 or later and using mrPhotographic Exposure such as the scene is set up then you need to make sure that your LUT settings are correct. I would think that if you adopt all the MatLabs settings on opening, that you would be OK, the floor grid is the most obvious tell tale sign that gamma isn't right, it should match the other materials on the site.

1.) Enable Gamma/LUT Correction
2.) Gamma 2.2 (this really depends on your monitor, but is academic here.)
3.) Check the boxes for Affecting Color Selectors and Material Editor.
4.) Input Gamma 1.0 and Output Gamma 2.2

When setting up your materials make sure that diffuse texture is using "system gamma setting" and the other textures can use their own gamma.

As for your bump map name, as long as you give it a unique name you can use the same name and file for all your bumps since they are the same, just don't name the file "bump" as that is not unique and will just get over written next time a material is installed that has a bump texture file named "bump". So give it a unique name that relates to your material name (a DFR in the name maybe) and you can use the same one as required if it is actually the same file.

Thanks for sharing and checking in with your questions.

Cheers!

Russell
