I'm having the same problem ... i see no material when i open it. i'm using mental ray & Max 2009. please fix. other than that, it looks really good in the pic

i download but how do i use. How do I get into max. The file has no extension. What type file is this when it is extracted

When you extract the .zip file there's a "Glass-Arch-JCA-01.mat" file included. If you can't see the .mat extension then perhaps you have extensions hidden in your OS options. Or, if you're like me and use MSOffice then it seems to associate .mat extensions as a MS Office Access Table Shortcut...

Regardless you'll open .mat files with the material editor in 3dsmax.

IF the file unzips without anything in it then it sounds like the .zip file was corrupted during download, or not downloaded at all. People have reported problems downloading .zip files when using IE. If the downloaded file isn't 2.76kb in size then it's not downloading. If you're using IE try downloading with a different browser like FireFox and it should work fine.

hey guys,, sorry if im been really nood here... but the material doesnt work,,, i hace 3ds mx 2010, and when i open the material editor and open o merge this material y doesnt do anything,,, but it loads another files downloaded.. what can i do? and thank you in advance!...

1. You could check to make sure file is correct Max version and that file is not corrupt from downloading it using Internet Explorer (there seems to be a problem with downloading zip files using IE on the site).
